
Wilson grew up in the Toronto Junction neighbourhood in a townhouse that was a stone’s throw away from the railway tracks. He is particularly interested in the passenger aspects of railways including stations and passenger cars. In 2014, he fulfilled his dream of riding the entire length of VIA Rail’s The Canadian passenger service from Vancouver to Toronto.
Wilson studied at Brock University where he obtained his MBA (Finance). He has been working in the logistics industry for four years. He has obtained his CPIM (2013) and CSCP (2014) which are both supply chain-related professional designations from APICS.
In his role as CFO, Wilson is responsible for preparing the TRHA’s annual budget and tracking it against actual revenues and expenditures. The role also involves advising the executive on all financial matters and providing analysis when required.
