Last chance to visit the Toronto Model Railroad Club in Liberty Village!

Click on the video to watch it!

For over 70 years, the Toronto Model Railroad Club have been developing their magnificent O-Gauge railway layout in the basement of a building in the area now known as Liberty Village in Toronto, Ontario. They are the closest model railway club to our museum site. They are now being forced to vacate their premises for a condominium development and will be taking apart their layout next month. They have acquired a new location in the eastern part of Toronto and should be able to have public open houses again in a year or two.

Meanwhile, you have a chance to visit this layout at its current site one last time in 2013 as they are holding a series of weekend Open Houses on February 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th and 18th (Family Day Holiday) from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. For more information, visit their website by clicking here.

The YouTube video above is an interesting time lapse movie of action at their Lilleyburg yard.
