In previous postings, we have visited a number of miniature railway clubs in Canada. The Quebec Model Railroad Society (QRMS) operates a miniature railway in Saint-Foy, a part of Quebec City. They also have N gauge and HO gauge indoor layouts at the same site. The site is located right beside mainline railway tracks as can be seen in the attached pictures.
.
This past Thanksgiving weekend, they held their annual event to which they invite the public . They have a wonderful set of CN diesel models as can be seen in these images. Three of these four CN Diesels (plus a 4-4-0 steam engine which is not shown) were built by the gentleman in the middle of the group photo who is not wearing a hat. He is Reynald Proulx, a retired foreman from the Davie Ship Building company.
