The TRHA has acquired many photographs pertaining to Toronto’s railway history as well as some from further abroad. Some of these were acquired through donations, and others come from the collections of third parties that have given us permission to use them. Photographs are a window into the past, providing an opportunity to bring us closer to previous eras of railroading than words ever could. They are one of the most impactful forms of media used to tell the story of Toronto’s railways.
